Direct Response Video Editor, eCom, DTC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Transform briefs into captivating advertisements that catch the viewer's eye.

• Collaborate closely with our Creative Strategists to edit direct-response video ads for Meta.

• Develop engaging hooks that attract attention, implement pattern interrupts before drops, and maintain pacing that keeps viewers focused on the call to action.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience editing direct response ads for Meta in a DTC brand or creative agency.

• Familiarity with AI-driven workflows — you actively use AI tools in your daily processes, such as generative video (Veo/Gemini, Kling, etc.).

• A portfolio of proven advertisements — edited videos that have been part of real ad campaigns. Share examples of your work and their performance.

• Strong retention skills — you have a grasp of hooks, pattern interrupts, pacing, captions, and sound design as essential tools for maintaining attention, and you can articulate the rationale behind each edit.

• Ability to produce a high volume of work quickly — capable of delivering 1 to 2 finished ads daily from a brief.

• Proactive approach — you understand the significance of hook rates and hold rates, inquire about the performance of your edits, and adapt your future work based on feedback.

• Familiarity with native feed content. Your edits resemble organic content rather than traditional commercials, utilizing UGC pacing, storytelling techniques, and animation.

• Efficient, organized, and dependable. You maintain clean project files, properly named versions, meet deadlines, and communicate proactively if issues arise. You are a key contributor to ensuring your team meets its deadlines.
