Digital Court Reporter – Remote Online Notary (Contract)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Capture precise and comprehensive digital audio recordings of legal events such as depositions, hearings, and meetings.

• Administer oaths and take part in depositions, hearings, and various other legal proceedings.

• Monitor and guarantee audio quality in real-time, annotating the record with speaker identifications and pertinent notes.

• Maintain a secure and organized archive of proceedings while adhering to legal and confidentiality standards.

• Upload and submit audio files along with associated annotations through our secure systems promptly.

• Communicate effectively with scheduling and production teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials.

• Represent NRGCO with professionalism in all proceedings and interactions.

• Engage with high-profile clients, including Federal Government, State Government, and Private Industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Digital Court Reporter in legal or governmental settings.

• Proficient in digital recording software, annotation tools, and audio file management.

• Strong attention to detail and an excellent command of the English language.

• Capability to work independently and adjust to dynamic courtroom or deposition environments.

• Experience in covering multi-speaker and technical proceedings.

• Familiarity with court terminology and procedures.

• Ability to pass security screenings for access to client sites, including government buildings.

• Availability for occasional assignments with short notice.

• REMOTE ONLINE NOTARY REQUIRED.

• AAERT Certification is highly preferred.
