DevSecOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain intricate AWS environments utilizing Terraform.

• Implement least-privilege IAM policies, oversee strict Security Group routing, and incorporate defense-in-depth security measures.

• Create and enhance GitHub Actions workflows for both continuous integration and continuous deployment.

• Develop CloudWatch dashboards, set up metric filters, and establish automated alerting for operational and security incidents.

• Define and uphold SDLC standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or DevSecOps positions.

• In-depth knowledge of AWS, particularly in serverless computing (Lambda, API Gateway), networking/routing (CloudFront, WAF, VPCs), and event-driven architecture (EventBridge).

• High-level expertise with Terraform, including managing complex state migrations, module extractions, and ensuring zero-drift deployments.

• Solid comprehension of AWS IAM (custom policies, service roles, boundary policies), network security, and application-layer protections such as WAF and CSP headers.

• Significant experience in building declarative pipelines with GitHub Actions, including custom composite actions and managing build artifacts.

• Proficient scripting skills in Bash and Python, with experience in managing Python dependencies (e.g., uv, pip) for serverless packaging.
