DevSecOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Engage in fullstack development within DevSecOps and Agile frameworks.

• Design and implement enterprise applications on the AWS Cloud platform.

• Create front-end applications utilizing React and/or Angular, along with JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Maintain rigorous compliance with CI/CD methodologies and best practices for secure coding.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Full Stack Development in DevSecOps and Agile settings.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, JEE, REST/JSON APIs, and microservices architecture.

• Expertise in front-end development using React and/or Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Proven experience in developing and deploying enterprise applications on the AWS Cloud.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Concourse, Git/GitHub, and DevSecOps methodologies.

• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and the deployment of containerized applications.

• Familiarity with Selenium, Cucumber, TDD, and BDD for automated testing processes.

• Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC, code review practices, production support, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Preferably experienced with technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Cassandra, Tomcat, AWS Lambda, Kotlin/Scala, Prometheus, or similar tools.

• Experience with federal government projects and an active or prior security clearance are highly preferred.
