DevOps, Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and execute Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.

• Oversee and enhance system performance to guarantee high availability and scalability of the platform.

• Work in conjunction with development teams to incorporate CI/CD pipelines and advocate for best practices in software delivery.

• Detect and address security vulnerabilities within the infrastructure to safeguard sensitive information.

• Develop and update documentation and guides for utilizing and maintaining the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound understanding of GitLab CI.

• Extensive experience with Docker and containerization.

• Practical experience with build and release automation.

• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (deployments, debugging, Helm).

• Familiarity with automated testing within a CI/CD framework (integration testing is a plus).

• Exceptional proficiency in both German and English.

• Experience with deploying on Debian or Ubuntu.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).

• Proficient in Python and/or Bash for scripting and tooling purposes.

• Experience in modernizing legacy systems.

• Operational knowledge (customer-facing operations, updates, monitoring, stability).
