DevOps Manager – Midshift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Deliver hands-on technical leadership across software development, applications, DevOps, and associated technology environments.

• Guide, mentor, and support internal WordPress and Python developers through technical advice, design assessments, and problem resolution.

• Serve as the primary technical liaison among the business, internal teams, and external technology vendors and managed service providers.

• Assess and validate technical solutions, oversee vendor performance, and ensure projects align with business, security, and operational requirements.

• Propel advancements in DevOps practices, deployment methodologies, automation, system reliability, and operational efficiency.

• Lead the planning and execution of technology projects, platform upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Advocate for best practices in software development, security, change management, governance, and maintain technical documentation and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Demonstrable experience in a Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or DevOps Manager role with direct technical involvement.

• In-depth knowledge of contemporary software development, DevOps methodologies, cloud technologies, automation, and application infrastructure.

• Experience in leading and mentoring development teams while managing outsourced technology vendors and service providers.

• Proven ability to assess technical designs, evaluate vendor solutions, and foster improvements in software delivery and operational performance.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with experience collaborating with executive leadership.

• Familiarity with WordPress, Python, AI-driven automation, global technology landscapes, regulated industries, or relevant cloud/DevOps certifications is a plus.
