DevOps Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the design and execution of Infrastructure as Code, facilitating automated environment provisioning, as well as the automated deployment and monitoring of various environments.

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to foster a continuous integration environment that maintains high productivity and focuses on defect prevention strategies.

• Engage in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

• Streamline and enhance processes to minimize toil and execute sensitive tasks securely and reliably in controlled environments.

• Work alongside cross-functional business teams to comprehend requirements and performance SLOs and SLAs.

• Meticulously document operational practices and procedures.

• Diagnose and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.

• Identify process gaps and assist in addressing them.

• Participate in additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of relevant professional experience in DevOps or a related domain.

• Proficiency with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-based environments.

• Capability to write code, including automation scripts and diagnostics/debugging support.

• Experience in creating and maintaining alerting, monitoring, and metrics systems (such as New Relic, Zenoss, Sensu, Nagios, Graphite, Collectd, Ganglia, Datadog, or similar).

• Familiarity with continuous integration, testing, and deployment pipelines (such as Jenkins, Bamboo CI, Docker, or similar).

• Experience using tools and workflows that facilitate the software development lifecycle (such as Git, SVN, and Jira).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with experience collaborating with distributed teams.
