This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Assist in overseeing multiregion and multicloud infrastructure, ensuring resilience, scalability, and performance.
• Support the provisioning and deployment of infrastructure primarily on GCP, while also gaining exposure to other cloud service providers.
• Design, implement, and maintain agentic AI workflows and automation systems, integrating LLMs, orchestration frameworks, APIs, and observability tools to enhance operational efficiency, incident response, and developer productivity.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and sustain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
• Engage in the management of Kubernetes clusters (GKE and potentially other managed Kubernetes offerings).
• Contribute to deployments based on GitOps principles using ArgoCD.
• Assist in automating infrastructure with Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Monitor system health and participate in the on-call rotation, aiding in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to enhance reliability.
• Document processes, create runbooks, and aid in refining operational practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 4-7 years of direct experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles.
• Strong foundation in Linux/Unix administration and basic networking.
• Practical experience with public cloud services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, IAM, VPC, etc.).
• Understanding of Kubernetes concepts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles and ArgoCD for GitOps workflows.
• Interest or experience with multicloud and multiregion architectures.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or GCP Cloud Monitoring/Logging).
• Understanding of distributed systems design and global traffic management.
