DevOps Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and enhance the infrastructure-as-code utilized for the provisioning of cloud services and environments.

• Sustain and upgrade CI/CD pipelines, manage secrets, and optimize deployment workflows.

• Deploy observability tools, automate failure detection, and minimize alert fatigue.

• Collaborate with platform, product, and data teams to scale services and alleviate latency or bottlenecks.

• Work collaboratively with IT and network teams on system hardening, identity and access management, and secure provisioning.

• Contribute to disaster recovery plans, security incident responses, and enhancements in internal system reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, and container technologies such as Docker.

• Strong experience in scripting or programming languages including Python, Bash, or Go.

• Practical experience in constructing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Comprehensive understanding of Linux/UNIX systems, networking principles, and security best practices (e.g., IAM, security groups).

• Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).

• Capacity to work cross-functionally, assess trade-offs, and drive measurable enhancements to system health and engineering efficiency.
