DevOps Engineer, GCP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with the development team to implement and manage application infrastructure.

• Support the creation and maintenance of tools that enhance the deployment and upkeep of our products.

• Utilize Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD to transition applications from development to production environments.

• Provide support for both in-house and third-party applications, including managing deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting tasks.

• Develop and oversee automation pipelines for application deployment and maintenance.

• Provision and manage infrastructure through Terraform.

• Clearly and concisely document processes and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps Engineering or a similar field.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, primarily GCP.

• Proficiency in the Linux command line and networking, especially within Kubernetes environments.

• A proactive approach to navigating complex systems, ensuring optimal performance.

• Strong knowledge of security best practices.

• Availability to participate in on-call rotation.

• **Bonus Skills**

• Prior experience with tools such as Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Postgres, Ansible, Redis, and Jenkins.

• Competence in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go.

• Experience collaborating with distributed and remote teams.
