DevOps Engineer, Full-Stack Software Developer – Python, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Development of backend features utilizing Python/Django (Django REST Framework), covering aspects from telephony routing and billing to calendar integrations.

• Implementation of real-time audio pipelines, including WebSockets, Voice Activity Detection, and integration with LLM live APIs such as Gemini Live and Azure OpenAI.

• Development of RAG systems utilizing pgvector and embeddings.

• Frontend development using React/TypeScript (Vite, Tailwind, TanStack Query).

• DevOps and operations involving container infrastructure with Docker/Docker Compose, along with CI/CD pipelines.

• Management of PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery, and Centrifugo (WebSocket server).

• Deployment, monitoring, and scaling of our development, staging, and production environments.

• Maintenance of telephony infrastructure, including Twilio and SIP.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in backend development with Python, preferably using Django or FastAPI.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Linux-based deployment processes.

• Interest in or experience with LLMs and AI engineering, including prompt design, function calling, RAG, and real-time/audio APIs.

• Familiarity with contemporary development workflows such as Git, code reviews, CI/CD, and testing (pytest), along with AI-assisted development tools.

• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, which is crucial in a remote environment.

• Proficiency in both German and English, both spoken and written.

• Nice to have: experience with React/TypeScript, PostgreSQL tuning, VoIP/SIP knowledge, familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS, and Stripe integrations.
