DevOps Engineer – Cloud, Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage Azure Landing Zones (including subscriptions, RBAC, Management Groups, and networking).

• Develop and sustain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/Bicep with modular and testable configurations.

• Establish and enhance CI/CD pipelines (utilizing Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions) integrated with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.

• Manage and advance AKS clusters (including deployments, Helm charts, autoscaling, and network policies); implement GitOps methodologies (such as Argo CD).

• Enforce secure networking practices (VNet, NSG, Private Endpoints, and load balancing) along with enterprise governance.

• Collaborate effectively with development, architecture, and data teams; disseminate best practices and maintain documentation.

• Promote automation and continuous improvement through scripting (using Python/PowerShell/Bash).

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with a focus on Terraform (preferred), including modular configurations (Terragrunt, remote state, workspaces) and infrastructure testing (terraform test/Terratest); experience with Bicep is a plus.

• Practical experience with Azure Landing Zone & Governance: managing subscriptions, RBAC, Management Groups, and Azure Policy at an enterprise level.

• Demonstrated CI/CD expertise (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) with various deployment strategies (blue/green, rolling, canary).

• Hands-on experience with AKS: handling manifests, Helm, HPA/KEDA, Cluster Autoscaler, and network policies; familiarity with GitOps workflows.

• Proficient in scripting and automation using Python or PowerShell/Bash; capable of integrating with Azure APIs/Graph API.

• Strong collaboration abilities; capable of working independently, communicating effectively, and maintaining a results-oriented focus.
