DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You play a key role in promoting digital transformation within German municipalities and ministries, crafting sustainable software solutions that resonate with our clients (m/f/d).

• You design, manage, and enhance Kubernetes environments.

• You are responsible for constructing, maintaining, and refining CI/CD pipelines, while also providing support to the software development team with local development settings.

• You proactively advance the automation of deployment processes and software development workflows.

• You analyze and address technical challenges efficiently, collaborating closely with colleagues in networking and security.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a degree in computer science or have equivalent vocational training, such as an IT specialist in system integration or application development.

• You have extensive experience with container technologies and orchestration platforms, predominantly Kubernetes, along with Helm and Rancher, and hold relevant certifications.

• You bring at least 2 years of professional experience in the role of a DevOps Engineer.

• Proficiency in Linux, foundational networking technologies, Bash, and Git is integral to your daily tasks.

• You are enthusiastic about software development and have hands-on experience with at least one widely-used programming language such as Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, or Rust.

• You are familiar with CI/CD tools, preferably GitLab CI or similar alternatives, as well as Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.

• You communicate fluently in German (minimum C1 level) and possess good English skills (minimum B2 level).
