DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Design and develop CI/CD pipelines for various applications and services.

• Construct and sustain scalable infrastructure utilizing containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code tools.

• Oversee and enhance cloud-based environments on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Establish and refine monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure infrastructure and application health.

• Automate deployment, scaling, and operational tasks to minimize manual efforts and enhance reliability.

• Collaborate with software engineers to grasp deployment needs and optimize system architecture.

• Ensure security, performance, and reliability across both infrastructure and application layers.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and operations.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation and best practices for infrastructure and deployment processes.

• Assist with ML model and pipeline deployment as required (a secondary responsibility).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering.

• Strong expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

• Solid grasp of CI/CD principles and practical experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar.

• Proficient programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and scripting purposes.

• Practical experience with at least one major cloud service provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, ELK stack, CloudWatch, or similar).

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work autonomously.
