DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain infrastructure across bare-metal, virtualized, and containerized settings utilizing cutting-edge technologies and high-performance hardware.

• Propel ongoing enhancements across CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.

• Deliver infrastructure and automation assistance to development and verification teams, facilitating effective development and testing workflows.

• Aid in the development and integration efforts for next-generation infrastructure and software solutions.

• Enhance reliability, scalability, and operational effectiveness within Linux- and Windows-based environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in developing CI/CD processes and contributing to DevOps environments, with a strong enthusiasm for automation.

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.

• Comprehensive experience with hardware-centric infrastructure, including bare-metal and virtualization platforms.

• At least 2 years of experience with Linux distributions like CentOS, Ubuntu, SLES, or Red Hat.

• Proficient scripting capabilities in Bash, Python, and Groovy.

• Solid understanding of virtualization in Linux, including QEMU/KVM, and container orchestration with Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with source control systems like GitHub and GitLab.

• Knowledge of Linux packaging software, including .rpm and .deb formats.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience with agentic AI tools, AI-driven automation, or the integration of AI into DevOps workflows.

• Strong networking expertise, including TCP/IP, switching, routing, and troubleshooting in both Linux and Windows environments.

• Experience with PyTest or comparable testing frameworks.

• Good comprehension of the C/C++ toolchain in Linux, covering cross-compilation and build tools like make, cmake, and meson.
