DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate embedded software development and deployment processes.

• Automate the build, test, and release workflows utilizing contemporary DevOps tools and scripting techniques.

• Oversee and enhance containerized environments employing Docker.

• Collaborate with Software Architects, Engineering Leads, and DevSecOps teams to ensure compliance with organizational standards and secure development methodologies.

• Support continuous testing environments, including the integration of unit tests and automated quality checks.

• Monitor and enhance system reliability, performance, and deployment efficiency.

• Engage with Agile teams and take part in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a DevOps / CI-CD / Build & Release Engineering capacity.

• Strong proficiency with Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins. (GitHub is essential)

• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration tasks.

• Skilled in scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or Python.

• Basic coding competency in C# or Java.

• Experience with Chocolatey package management.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.

• Experience utilizing code quality and review tools like SonarQube, PC-Lint, etc.

• Background in supporting continuous testing environments and automation integration.
