DevOps Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Define the architecture and requirements for projects aimed at enhancing productivity throughout the CI/CD lifecycle and bolstering security posture.

• Design and sustain scalable, dependable, and secure internal tools using infrastructure as code.

• Mentor and guide engineers, integrating expertise and best practices into the team’s culture as a subject matter expert.

• Ensure the quality of code, adherence to delivery timelines, and satisfaction of stakeholders throughout your work.

• Oversee projects from inception to completion, which includes requirement gathering, work planning, and execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7+ years of practical technical experience as an infrastructure or platform developer.

• Extensive development experience with languages such as Python, Groovy, and Bash.

• In-depth knowledge and experience with cloud infrastructure including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (AWS is preferred).

• Familiarity with Containers and Orchestrators (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.).

• Proficient in CI/CD Tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) languages (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Terraform, etc.).

• Experience managing the entire application release cycle (CI/CD).

• Adept at utilizing AI and developing AI-driven automations.

• Knowledge of operating system administration for both Windows and Linux.

• Exceptional design and analytical capabilities.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities and innovative thinking.

• Experience in aligning expectations among various stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
