Developer, Software Engineer (IC3)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• In the role of Developer (Software Engineer IC3) at LBCA, you will take on the technical responsibility for intricate initiatives that have a systemic impact.

• We anticipate your ability to navigate situations with significant technological uncertainty, crafting scalable solutions and overseeing the execution of projects that encompass multiple services.

• Beyond delivering exceptional software, a key aspect of your position will be to serve as a local architect within your team, consistently elevating engineering standards across the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Back-end Engineering.

• Specialization in creating robust APIs, microservices, system integrations, and centralizing business rules.

• Primary programming languages and frameworks: Node.js (TypeScript) with NestJS or Serverless.

• Database expertise: PostgreSQL (as the primary relational database) and DynamoDB (NoSQL).

• Proficient with tools and messaging systems: Apache Kafka (as the main event bus), SQS and SNS, Redis (for caching).

• Knowledge in APIs and communication: RESTful architecture, including the development of API contracts (Swagger/OpenAPI).

• Experience with DevOps practices: Git, Docker, Cloud Computing (AWS), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Serverless framework - sls), and CI/CD (Azure DevOps).

• Understanding of software design principles, including Hexagonal Architecture, Clean Code, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.

• Familiarity with testing methodologies: TDD, unit tests (Jest), as well as integration and end-to-end testing.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with business, product, and operations teams.

• An analytical and strategic mindset with a strong emphasis on technological sustainability.
