This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Designer II role is an entry-level position aimed at enhancing discipline expertise, improving modeling capabilities, and assuming greater responsibility for coordination and documentation across various projects.
• You will implement workflows, tools, and BIM standards with increasing autonomy while assisting engineers and project teams in producing coordinated construction documents.
• Your contributions to project delivery will include modeling, updating drawings, providing coordination support, managing documentation, and engaging in early QA activities.
• As your technical knowledge expands, you will take on more intricate coordination and documentation tasks across disciplines such as Telecom/ICT, Audiovisual, Security, Acoustics, Network, Wi-Fi, and other relevant technology areas.
• By collaborating closely with engineering mentors, production personnel, and project teams, you will help uphold model quality, aid in coordination efforts, and reinforce TEECOM’s BIM and documentation standards.
• You will start to identify coordination risks, enhance model organization, and contribute to more efficient project workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical), Architecture, or a related discipline; or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 2 years in the AEC industry with proven skills in Revit modeling, drafting, and construction documentation, including experience with coordination or field activities that support construction or site operations.
• Preferred: Experience in technology system design (Telecom/ICT, Audiovisual, Security, Acoustics, Network, Wi-Fi, and other technology domains) and knowledge of coordinated drawing sets.
• Experience in maintaining the structure of Revit models, including links, worksets, view templates, and overall model organization.
• Familiarity with basic clash detection processes using Navisworks or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Capability to generate accurate models and drawings with minimal revisions, adhere to established workflows, and efficiently incorporate feedback.
• Strong organizational, communication, and coordination abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and support project delivery across various initiatives.
• Developing understanding of technology systems and fundamental engineering principles; ability to perform introductory calculations, research, or product evaluations with guidance.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD; working knowledge of Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Asana, and GitHub.
• Your level will be assessed and determined during the interview process.
