This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +3 more states.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects to gain a comprehensive understanding of the use case demand plan for prioritized customers.
• Direct the strategy and execution plan for technical accounts following successful technical wins, focusing on the majority of Databricks use cases within our key accounts.
• Serve as the accountable technical leader assigned to specific use cases and customers across various sales teams and internal stakeholders, transforming uncertainty into clarity and driving onboarding, enablement, success, go-live, and optimal consumption of workloads where customers have chosen to utilize Databricks.
• Be the primary point of contact for any technical inquiries or issues related to the production/go-live status of agreed-upon use cases within an account, frequently servicing multiple use cases in the largest and most intricate organizations.
• Utilize Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding/Technical Services, and Support resources, while also escalating to technical experts to develop appropriate tasks that exceed your scope of activities or expertise.
• Formulate, own, and implement a strategy regarding how key use cases can be expedited into production, coordinating with Professional Services (PS) resources on the delivery of PS Engagement proposals.
• Engage with Databricks Product and Engineering teams for new product innovations, private previews, and upgrade requirements.
• Develop a comprehensive execution plan encompassing all activities of customer-facing technical roles and teams to address the following work streams:
• Primary use cases transitioning from ‘win’ to production.
• Enablement and user growth strategy.
• Product adoption strategy and activities to promote the adoption of Databricks’ Lakehouse vision.
• Organic requirements for current investments (e.g., cloud cost control, tuning, and optimization).
• Executive and operational governance.
• Provide both internal and external updates - KPI reporting on usage status and customer health, including investment status, significant risks, product adoption, and use case progression - to your Technical GM.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience responsible for technical project/program delivery within the Data and AI domain.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Background in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or a consulting role.
• Knowledge of solution architecture concerning distributed data systems.
• Ability to attribute business value and outcomes to specific project deliverables.
• Experience in technical program or project management, including accountability for account, stakeholder, and resource management.
• Proven experience in resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
• Experience in conducting open-ended discovery workshops, creating strategic roadmaps, performing business analysis, and managing the delivery of complex programs/projects.
• A track record of exceeding quota, goals, or similar objective targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience through work.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% as required.
