Databricks Engineer – EST Timezone

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and maintain data pipelines utilizing Databricks

• Optimize pipelines and enhance production stability

• Create and maintain reporting and data visualization frameworks

• Apply best practices for performance enhancement, scalability, and cost efficiency

• Manage complete data workflows (ingestion → transformation → reporting)

• Detect and address performance issues and system inefficiencies

• Establish structure and consistency within a dynamic Databricks environment

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform reliability and return on investment

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks (essential)

• Proficiency in developing data pipelines (ETL/ELT)

• Strong understanding of data engineering and data architecture principles

• Experience with large-scale data processing systems

• Familiarity with reporting/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or analogous)

• Capability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments with minimal guidance.
