Data Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business leaders, product managers, and technology teams to convert business requirements into comprehensive solution architectures.

• Design solutions that are scalable, secure, and resilient across applications, data, integrations, and cloud platforms.

• Establish architectural patterns, integration strategies, and system workflows that support Forte’s payment and merchant lifecycle processes.

• Facilitate solution design sessions and technical reviews to ensure feasibility, scalability, and compliance with enterprise standards.

• Work closely with engineering teams to steer implementation and address complex technical issues.

• Assess and suggest technologies, platforms, and third-party solutions that align with Forte’s architectural strategy.

• Verify that solutions fulfill security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

• Discover opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, automation, and system performance.

• Develop and maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and solution design artifacts.

• Assist with production readiness, troubleshooting, and the continuous improvement of deployed solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in solution architecture, application architecture, or senior engineering positions.

• Proven experience in designing enterprise-scale solutions within fintech, payments, or regulated environments (preferred).

• Strong grasp of application architecture, system integration, and API-based design principles.

• Proficient in SQL, as well as one of the programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.

• Familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft SQL Server, and the Microsoft ecosystem.

• Experience with contemporary data warehousing architecture.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Understanding of data platforms, data integration patterns, and analytics solutions.

• Experience in evaluating and integrating third-party SaaS and vendor platforms.

• Awareness of security, authentication, authorization, and compliance best practices.

• Capability to create clear architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
