Data Operations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Managing source control through the generation of data and overseeing schema management.

• Establishing data ingestion pipelines that normalize and transform client data to align with our standardized data schema.

• Ensuring data adheres to quality standards while regularly engaging with our customers to address their requests and customize the platform according to their requirements.

• A strong inclination to collaborate, solicit feedback, troubleshoot issues, and tackle challenges through a test-and-learn approach is highly valued in this role.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing Elixir or Ruby for data-related projects within a production setting.

• Proficiency in Python and/or Elixir.

• Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, SQLite, and others.

• Proven experience in implementing the Data Engineering Lifecycle within an organization (covering both code and communication aspects).

• 2-3 years of experience as a data scientist, data analyst, or full-stack programmer in a Big Data or comparable role.

• Skilled in SQL with an understanding of database internals.

• Familiarity with machine learning concepts.

• Proven ability to process information, manage your own time and responsibilities, and achieve desired outcomes in a highly technical environment.
