Data Migration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Barbados.

📋 Description

• Utilize advanced Excel and related database programming/management expertise to extract and organize data from legacy systems for integration into FundCount.

• Conduct data validation tests to assess and enhance data quality.

• Document the data flow through previous system antecedents and additional databases.

• Execute both quantitative and qualitative analyses when necessary to recommend process enhancements.

• Support the development of new data import and export interfaces, as well as the upkeep of existing ones, between FundCount and third-party systems and services.

• Create Excel-based macros and scripts to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.

• Generate validation and reconciliation reports and dashboards to ensure migrated data aligns with official records.

• Manage multiple data migration implementation projects concurrently.

• Collaborate with internal personnel to execute data migration tasks.

• Oversee data migration testing and reporting procedures.

• Assist in identifying design and interface process improvements.

• Produce systems integration documentation.

• Log the outcomes of work into the Jira tracking system, accurately describing and organizing each task in accordance with the company’s established workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of pertinent experience in generating reports for business users of ERP systems.

• Proficient in advanced MS Excel and knowledgeable in SQL queries.

• Comprehension of principles for analyzing large data sets and recognizing patterns to establish rules.

• Capacity to quickly learn new concepts and work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a project team.

• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
