Data Engineer – MS Fabric

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Development and implementation of modern data architectures

• Drive analytical solutions leveraging Big Data technologies

• Design, maintain, and optimize parallel processing systems

• Collect, process, clean, and orchestrate large volumes of data

• Define the optimal strategy based on business objectives

• Participate in sprint planning and engineering sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced English proficiency

• Technical Skills: Query and Programming Languages T-SQL / Spark SQL: DDL and DML, intermediate and advanced queries, grouping and aggregation; stored procedures for ETL/ELT; index optimization.

• Python (PySpark): Object-oriented programming, management of structures and data types, flow control, ingestion of structured and semi-structured data.

• JSON / REST APIs: Orchestration of pipelines and CI/CD deployments

• Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse: Data modeling with Delta ACID tables, use of time travel for auditing and recovery.

• Warehouses (Synapse Analytics): Configuration of SQL clusters

• CI/CD & Lifecycle Management: Definition of pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

• Monitor Hub & Activator: Creation of custom dashboards for metrics.

• Eventstreams & Eventhouse: Configuration of real-time event ingestion.

• Data Security and Governance: Granular management of roles and permissions.
