This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Apply technical and mechanical knowledge to carry out all phases of observation and data recording for technical tests in support of engineering projects.
• Utilize standardized technical manuals and develop baseline templates for execution.
• Gather field data, ensuring an accurate and detailed chronological record of all testing operations and maintenance-related data.
• Analyze equipment and terminal operations to convert information into the required format for the INFOR system.
• Implement Vopak standards for the correct transformation of information within the INFOR system.
• Verify and correct existing coding in the INFOR system while adhering to standards.
• Request and validate information based on the scope of the project.
• Review and amend maintenance plans as necessary.
• Collect information such as isolation points, locations, and zones for project implementation like work permits.
• Create and update final positions in the existing asset tree using a standardized data loading template for submission to the division for review/approval.
• Conduct field data collection at terminals assigned by the Americas division to structure the asset tree according to actual installed equipment (availability for international travel required).
• Assist in the implementation of the Control of Work module in INFOR, identifying blocking points and labeling, potential equipment damages, and hazards and risks tree.
• Professional degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• MUST HAVE A VALID AMERICAN VISA.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in projects aimed at extending the life of existing assets in terminals.
• Legal transportation allowance.
