Data Architect – Azure, Enterprise Data Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design and implementation of scalable, comprehensive data architectures.

• Establish data standards, governance protocols, and enterprise frameworks.

• Convert business requirements into effective, cloud-based solutions.

• Design and execute data solutions, both batch and real-time.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the globe.

• Promote the use of modern data platforms such as Azure, Snowflake, DBT, and Power BI.

• Serve as the primary liaison for cloud partners and internal stakeholders.

• Create Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to assess emerging technologies.

• Remain updated on data trends and commit to continuous learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering solution and reference architectures.

• Strong history of successfully delivering end-to-end data solutions.

• User-centered mindset.

• Willingness to travel when necessary.

• Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders.

• Proficiency in English.

• Over 6 years of experience with Azure-based cloud/hybrid data and machine learning solutions.

• Strong expertise in data modeling (dimensional).

• Familiarity with Snowflake, DBT, ADF, and Power BI.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric is advantageous.

• Proficiency in SQL and Python (C# is a plus).

• Experience with CI/CD utilizing Azure DevOps or GitHub.

• Proven leadership abilities and skills in team coordination.

• Capacity to manage both internal and external delivery teams.

• Strong documentation and communication capabilities.
