This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Spearhead data architecture transformations and/or migrations to contemporary cloud solutions, ensuring the robustness and scalability of the solution.
• Design and implement Virtual Cloud solutions, including virtual networks and the management of network routings and subnets.
• Create efficient, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that optimize data processing and integration, with experience in integrating data across various systems using APIs and data integration tools.
• Develop scalable, high-performance data models and databases, encompassing Medallion Data Warehouse architecture, Data Lakehouses, dimensional modeling (Star and/or Snowflake schemas), and other pertinent design patterns.
• Oversee one or multiple Data projects, taking ownership of end-to-end execution and being accountable for the outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve client objectives, providing technical guidance and ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to comprehend business goals, offer technical expertise, and deliver customized solutions.
• Ensure that all designed solutions adhere to the highest standards of quality, performance, cost-effectiveness, and access policy management.
• Remain informed about emerging industry trends and technologies, incorporating them into solutions to enhance value for clients.
• Advanced or expert-level experience with one or more database technologies (e.g., SQL Server) and modern data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Experience integrating data across disparate systems using APIs and data integration tools. Proficiency in leading data movement and transformation tools such as Snaplogic, dbt, Matillion, Fivetran, Azure Data Factory, and AWS Glue.
• Expertise in advanced analytics, including predictive modeling and statistical analysis.
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for data visualization and analytical tools (e.g., Python, R) for decision-making.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices for data (e.g., DataOps) and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform) to enhance data workflows.
