Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Developing and enhancing architectural blueprints for the data platform

• Designing and executing scalable data models, storage solutions, and pipelines for essential product functionalities

• Serving as a liaison among data science, product engineering, and stakeholders

• Implementing and adhering to data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices

• Guiding senior engineers and architects through complex challenges related to data modeling and distributed systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in software and data architectures

• Proficient in programming languages, particularly Python, Go, or Java

• Solid understanding of SQL and various databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Iceberg, and Athena

• Familiarity with streaming and event-driven architectures to handle high-volume data utilizing tools such as Spark

• Comprehensive knowledge of data modeling and contemporary data architectures, such as data lakehouses

• Over 6 years of pertinent experience in data engineering
