Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute comprehensive data architectures that cater to business and analytical requirements.

• Design and oversee databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.

• Establish standards and best practices for effective data management and governance.

• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and product teams to guarantee seamless integration of data systems.

• Ensure the quality, integrity, and security of both stored and transmitted data.

• Engage in big data and predictive analytics initiatives, offering technical guidance and leadership.

• Monitor the performance of data systems and implement ongoing optimizations.

• Document data architecture and associated processes, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records are maintained.

• Assist in resolving complex data issues and implementing scalable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Data Architect or in similar positions.

• Experience in designing and implementing SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Strong familiarity with big data technologies (Databricks, Redshift, Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.).

• Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools.

• Proficient in data modeling and schema design.

• Thorough understanding of data governance and data protection regulations (LGPD, GDPR).

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• Analytical mindset with the capability to solve complex problems.
