This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.
• Lead and guide the Data Analytics team by managing daily operations, establishing objectives, and conducting performance evaluations;
• Collaborate with the Senior Management Team and other senior leaders to uncover innovative applications of data and drive the BI and analytics strategy;
• Direct the design and execution of effective data solutions through the strategic use of business intelligence tools;
• Partner with Business, Product, and Engineering teams to identify necessary metrics, reports, and analytics for the business;
• Create, architect, implement, and maintain critical datasets that offer structured and timely access to actionable business insights, always considering end-user needs;
• Extract and analyze data utilizing SQL and various data management & BI systems;
• Develop queries for both ad-hoc requests and ongoing reporting needs;
• Monitor existing metrics and analyze data to address key business inquiries in a data-driven manner;
• Evaluate Data Analytics processes and documentation for ongoing enhancement;
• Utilize the latest AWS cloud technologies;
• Over 10 years of experience in Data/BI/Analytics/Reporting roles;
• More than 2 years in a similar managerial role with a robust technical focus;
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, coupled with a passion for empowering users to leverage data and metrics to validate assumptions, construct business cases, and perform root-cause analyses;
• Strong expertise in SQL and advanced SQL techniques;
• Familiarity with BI solutions such as QuickSight (preferred), Tableau, QlikView, Power BI, etc.;
• Background in data modeling and reporting;
• Experience in data warehousing and database optimizations, as well as ETL/ELT processes;
• Proficiency with various database engines including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.;
• Interest and eagerness to work with the latest AWS cloud-based tools and services, such as AWS Glue, QuickSight, Redshift, S3, etc.;
• Highly proficient in both spoken and written English;
