Data Analytics Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Utilize quantitative analysis to gain insights into the factors influencing Bitstack’s business and product performance.

• Develop comprehensive analytics solutions: datasets, dashboards, and narratives suitable for executives.

• Establish repeatable analytical frameworks (such as cohorts, segmentation, and measurement plans) instead of providing isolated answers.

• Collaborate with the Engineering team to implement, validate, and oversee event logging and data integrity.

• Engage cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Compliance/Risk, Operations, Support, and Finance to define ambiguous challenges and transform them into data-driven decisions.

• Actively identify opportunities to influence key metrics, assess potential, and propose actionable recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid quantitative background in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Proficient in SQL and comfortable working with production-quality datasets.

• Strong skills in Python (or R) for analysis, modeling, and automation tasks.

• Familiarity with experimentation, hypothesis testing, and causal reasoning (A/B testing, quasi-experiments when A/B is not feasible).

• Experience with analytical techniques including: Funnel analysis and product measurement, Cohort retention, segmentation, and lifecycle analysis, Time-series analysis and forecasting, Regression/classification, model evaluation, and practical deployment patterns.

• Demonstrated ability to tackle ambiguous issues and resolve them in a structured, hypothesis-driven manner.

• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders: capable of translating complex analyses into clear recommendations and trade-offs.
