Data Analyst, Romanian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Assess, evaluate, and enhance the quality of outputs from multilingual text classifiers.

• Collaborate with linguistics and engineering teams to develop and improve language-specific parsers.

• Translate and validate taxonomy content such as Skills, Titles, and Occupations from English to Romanian (and vice versa as necessary).

• Detect patterns in data errors and contribute to ongoing enhancements in rules, logic, and workflows.

• Clearly document findings and adhere to established processes to ensure consistency and quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, NLP, or a related discipline (preferred).

• Proficiency in reading and writing in both English and Romanian, with a keen attention to linguistic detail.

• Knowledge of syntax and structural language analysis.

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs, functions, and data cleaning).

• Familiarity with query languages like SQL.

• Advanced experience in writing and debugging rules using RegEx.

• Understanding of text analysis, NLP, or fundamental machine learning concepts.

• Experience in conducting data analysis using tools such as Excel and/or Python.

• Ability to manage high-volume, repetitive tasks while sustaining accuracy and concentration.

• Capacity to follow complex instructions, navigate through ambiguity, and work independently.

• Strong sense of urgency, organization, and time management skills.
