This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.
• Ensure that overnight billing runs are completed accurately, with invoices analyzed, distributed, and any exceptions identified and addressed in accordance with the Billing Operational Plan.
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly, providing effective solutions that meet the needs of both the retailer and the customer while adhering to all specified service level requirements.
• Follow all Meter Data processes correctly and identify and address any data anomalies in line with retailer service definitions and relevant market standards.
• Manage payment and market transfer processes efficiently, ensuring compliance with the retailer’s service definitions and operational standards.
• Oversee Life Support and market compliance processes, ensuring alignment with the latest market compliance guidelines.
• Review and process network invoices according to approved procedures.
• Create, review, and update process documents and process mapping documents to ensure they accurately reflect current processes.
• Collaborate with both internal and external teams to support business outcomes, serving as a subject matter expert for guidance on system enhancements, conducting user acceptance testing, and managing tariffs.
• Compile daily reports on client portfolio billing data, ensuring the accuracy and visibility of key billing metrics.
• Implement proactive data solutions aimed at enhancing billing accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Assist in settlement reconciliation activities to ensure targets are met.
• Identify and resolve billing and settlement discrepancies to minimize revenue loss and maximize dispute resolutions.
• Ensure that settlement environmental management activities comply with relevant market standards and regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree or HND in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven analytical experience in a similar role.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficient data management abilities.
• Intermediate understanding of databases and SQL queries.
• Comfortable navigating through ambiguity.
• Quick learner with the ability to think on their feet.
• Flexibility to work Australian hours when necessary.
• Strong time management skills with a proven ability to work independently.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills to build strong relationships with clients and their teams.
