Data Analyst – Mid-level, Credit Risk Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create dashboards and technical reports to assess portfolio health, evaluate strategy performance, and track risk indicators;

• Perform in-depth analyses of the credit portfolio, pinpointing emerging risks, trends, and areas for enhancement;

• Generate and present reports and executive materials regarding credit origination, delinquency, and the effectiveness of credit strategies;

• Transform substantial amounts of data into actionable insights to facilitate strategic decision-making;

• Develop analyses to aid in the implementation and adjustment of mass-market credit policies;

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of models, scorecards, and decision rules through thorough analysis and monitoring;

• Work collaboratively with product, commercial, and compliance teams to ensure alignment between strategy and operational execution;

• Assist the collections team with data, metrics, and analyses that enhance the collections process and facilitate the effective recovery of delinquent customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in credit, credit risk, or analytics roles within financial institutions or fintechs;

• Strong understanding of key credit risk indicators and metrics (e.g., overdue 30/60/90, ever, PDD — provision for doubtful debts, credit cost, roll rate);

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint;

• Familiarity with statistics applied to risk analysis, performance evaluation, and portfolio behavior;

• An analytical mindset capable of conducting complex data analyses, identifying issues, and uncovering opportunities for improvement.
