Data Analyst, Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and development of cloud (AWS) data architecture, ensuring it is scalable, high-performing, and governed effectively.

• Create and execute robust, resilient, and efficient data pipelines.

• Establish technical standards for modeling, ingestion, orchestration, and data quality.

• Serve as the technical authority for the team, mentoring and supporting junior engineers.

• Lead decisions regarding architecture and technology, including tools, frameworks, and best practices.

• Spearhead complex data integration projects involving ERP, e-commerce, CRM, franchises, etc.

• Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of data throughout the entire pipeline.

• Collaborate closely with the business to translate strategic challenges into effective data solutions.

• Promote DataOps practices, CI/CD, and pipeline observability.

• Optimize both the cost and performance of the data infrastructure.

• Take a prominent role in developing the omnichannel vision and the semantic data layer.

• Assist in the maintenance and ongoing evolution of the current environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in data analysis and engineering within large-scale environments.

• Strong background in AWS cloud services (S3, Redshift, Glue, etc.).

• Advanced proficiency in data orchestration tools (Kestra, Airflow, or similar).

• Expertise in SQL, including tuning, modeling, complex queries, and procedures.

• Advanced Python skills applied to data handling and automation.

• Experience in developing scripts and automation processes (ETL, validations, integrations).

• Practical knowledge of RPA or process automation (e.g., Selenium, scripting, integrations with legacy systems).

• Familiarity with analytical data modeling (Data Warehouse, Data Lake, etc.).

• Proven track record of integrating multiple data sources and complex systems.

• Experience with BI tools and a solid grasp of data consumption.

• Background in end-to-end project execution (architecture, development, and maintenance).

• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders.
