Data Analyst III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop sophisticated data visualizations.

• Generate intricate reports utilizing scripts and reporting tools.

• Design and produce consensus and statistical demand forecast reports while continuously enhancing forecasting techniques, methods, and approaches.

• Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to uncover opportunities for improvements and automation.

• Analyze data sets independently to find opportunities for greater accuracy and efficiency.

• Diagnose and test technical database issues alongside the development team.

• Create monthly Excel and Google Sheets files sourced from the database.

• Conduct quality assurance on data to identify potential data gaps.

• Address data-related technical challenges and support data infrastructure requirements.

• Compile large, complex data sets that fulfill both functional and non-functional business needs.

• Collaborate with data and analytics professionals to enhance the functionality of our data systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from an accredited college or university with 5 to 8 years of related experience and/or training; or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Build networks with senior internal and external personnel in the relevant area of expertise.

• Exercise sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques for deriving solutions.

• Over 5 years of experience in managing large data sets and producing visual data.

• Proficient in SQL, including the creation and modification of macros, as well as developing dashboards using SQL coding.

• Exceptional written communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas, functions, pivot tables, lookup and reference formulas (e.g., vlookups), statistical formulas (countifs, sumifs), macros (capability to create new and edit existing), conditional formatting, data importing, and graph/chart creation.

• Capability to independently analyze substantial data volumes, including identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends, gaps, and patterns within complex data sets.
