Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop, prepare, and sustain Power BI reports (both transactional and operational dashboards) to facilitate effective decision-making in product development, deployments, and marketing initiatives.

• Execute thorough analyses, interpret intricate datasets, and communicate clear, concise conclusions and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Detect trends, patterns, deviations, and anomalies (such as campaign performance and transaction result outliers) and relay findings to pertinent teams for managerial action.

• Engage in projects aimed at enhancing the maintenance, aggregation, and structuring of dashboards to boost efficiency and workspace organization within the Pay team.

• Assist in the formulation of business cases—including those requiring extensive or multi-source datasets—for budgeting, financial planning, and strategic initiatives.

• Conduct business analyses for sales, product, growth, payments, or operational subjects where ongoing reporting is absent or where data retrieval necessitates advanced database querying.

• Promote collaboration between Data and Business teams to streamline planning processes, improve the Data team’s understanding of business requirements, and expedite implementation timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to manage large datasets, including advanced SQL proficiency, query optimization, and automation of reporting processes (including VBA).

• Experience with Business Intelligence tools, particularly Power BI (Power Query, DAX).

• Foundational programming knowledge in Python (including PySpark).

• Strong practical knowledge of Databricks or comparable platforms.

• Highly developed analytical thinking and a problem-solving approach.

• Capability to convert data into actionable insights and business-oriented recommendations.

• Proficiency in creating clear, logical, user-friendly, and visually appealing data visualizations and reports.

• Sound understanding of practical statistics and mathematics.
