This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
• Create lakehouses/warehouses, dataflows, and semantic models in Microsoft Fabric following established standards and guidance.
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Implement best practices for data modeling, DAX, and optimizing report performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend their data requirements.
• Ensure the presented data in the dashboards is accurate and reliable.
• Educate end-users on effectively utilizing the dashboards and reports.
• Diagnose data-related issues and uphold the Power BI infrastructure.
• Keep abreast of the latest Power BI features, updates, and best practices.
• Perform descriptive and diagnostic analyses to uncover trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Over 3 years of experience in information systems, business intelligence, business analytics, or a similar field.
• Expertise in Power BI and other data visualization tools; a minimum of 3 years of Power BI experience is preferred.
• Proficient in SQL, DAX, and various other data languages.
• Strong grasp of data analysis and visualization principles.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL/ELT concepts, and practices related to data quality.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Capable of thriving in a remote work environment.
