Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Analyze and interpret extensive volumes of HR data integrated into the Data Lake to uncover trends, identify gaps, and generate actionable insights for business and AI applications.

• Design and execute scalable logical and physical data models to accommodate diverse HR and analytics reporting requirements.

• Develop and sustain a semantic layer to guarantee consistent, governed access to HR metrics across various teams and tools.

• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure high-quality integration of Workday API data and model-ready data structures.

• Partner with AI development teams to synchronize data models with the specifications for automated HR agents and workflows.

• Define and uphold data validation rules, quality checks, and compliance standards throughout the data modeling pipeline.

• Convert HR and business stakeholder requirements into structured data models and analytics frameworks.

• Create and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, lineage, and model definitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in data modeling (both logical and physical) with an emphasis on scalability and various downstream applications.

• Practical experience with Snowflake and dbt for data transformation and modeling tasks.

• Familiarity with AWS data services within a cloud-based data ecosystem.

• Experience working with Workday data structures or comparable HRIS systems.

• Understanding of semantic layer design and governed data access principles.

• Ability to translate intricate business requirements into clear, structured data models.

• Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance, particularly in sensitive HR data environments.
