Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Label and annotate datasets related to cybersecurity to prepare them for analysis and machine learning initiatives.

• Ensure that labeling is accurate and consistent across various datasets, including threat intelligence data, incident reports, and network logs.

• Collect data from multiple cybersecurity sources, such as threat intelligence feeds, logs, and internal documentation.

• Clean and preprocess data to render it suitable for analysis and modeling purposes.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights pertaining to cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.

• Employ statistical methods and tools to interpret data and detect potential security concerns.

• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders in cybersecurity.

• Develop visual representations of data to present key security metrics and trends clearly and concisely.

• Collaborate closely with analysts, data scientists, engineers, and other team members to fulfill their data requirements.

• Assist in the implementation and optimization of MLOps pipelines, utilizing data insights to deploy, monitor, and scale machine learning models for various solutions.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and discussions, offering data-driven insights.

• Document processes, methodologies, and insights acquired from data analysis and labeling activities.

• Maintain comprehensive records of data sources, cleaning procedures, and labeling criteria to ensure reproducibility and auditability.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM discipline.

• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as Python and SQL.

• Familiarity with relevant libraries and frameworks, including TensorFlow and PyTorch.

• Experience with tools for data labeling and annotation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with a solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
