This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Identify, investigate, and address security threats within endpoint and server environments.
• Enhance endpoint visibility and security posture utilizing contemporary tools and automation.
• Lead and facilitate incident response efforts, including investigation and remediation.
• Automate repetitive tasks for alerting, reporting, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve patching, vulnerability management, and system hardening.
• Detect, prioritize, and resolve vulnerabilities across a hybrid environment.
• Monitor systems and networks for any suspicious activities or unauthorized access.
• Contribute to the development of security standards, documentation, and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Over 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, or a related discipline.
• Practical experience with endpoint security, EDR, or endpoint management solutions.
• Examples include Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Tanium, SCCM/MECM, BigFix, SentinelOne.
• Experience in incident response, threat detection, or security operations.
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, or similar) for task automation.
• Solid understanding of Windows Server and enterprise environments.
• Experience in troubleshooting across distributed or enterprise systems.
• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or alternatively, a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in information technology.
• A total of five years of experience in information technology.
• Security certifications are preferred.
