This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +3 more states.
• Engage in CMMC Level 1 and CMMC Level 2 evaluations.
• Comprehend the security protocols related to Level 1 and 2 evaluations.
• Collect evidence for assessments and deliver "met/not met" feedback to the lead assessor for review.
• Demonstrated experience in evaluating and analyzing cyber security documentation for client information systems.
• Practical knowledge in identifying and addressing cyber security risks through structured assessment activities.
• Solid understanding of various standards, including NIST SP 800-171/171A Rev 2 and NIST SP 800-53/53A Rev 5, and how compliance with different standards and frameworks is achieved.
• Comprehensive understanding of 32 CFR Part 170 requirements and related CMMC guidance (e.g., CMMC Assessment Process v2.0).
• Familiarity with identifying and implementing vulnerability remediations, corrective measures, and, when necessary, mitigation strategies.
• Capability to engage in compliance-related and technical discussions encompassing relevant compliance frameworks, architectures, and security control requirements (both technical and non-technical).
• High School diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or a minimum of 4 years of experience as a fully qualified CCA with a valid Certification.
• Must possess an approved, unexpired Tier 3 investigation and maintain a good standing with the Cyber AB (e.g., no violations of the CMMC Code of Professional Conduct).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and capable of obtaining an active SECRET Security Clearance.
