This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Act as a reliable cybersecurity partner for Optiv's clients.
• Create practical Network/SASE/OT security solutions customized to each client's specific environment.
• Engage in the Field Center of Excellence and showcase Optiv’s services and technology partners.
• Keep abreast of clients’ security environments, business operations, security requirements, and risk tolerance.
• Recognize security issues, opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, and strategic solutions.
• Qualify leads and collaborate with internal colleagues on scope, proposal management, and deal closure.
• Involve in sales opportunities across the entirety of Optiv’s portfolio.
• Clearly communicate how Optiv’s technology and services fulfill the needs of client stakeholders.
• Propel services and technology business to achieve or surpass quota objectives.
• Track industry trends and contribute to thought leadership, analysis, and guidance.
• Work with service delivery teams to ensure the consistency of domain specialty materials.
• Formulate security strategies and roadmaps that align with business objectives, budgets, metrics, and ROI.
• Maintain advisory relationships with client stakeholders in collaboration with sales partners.
• Oversee comprehensive security programs, including requirements gathering, technology selection, demonstrations, evaluations, and cross-organizational solutions.
• Interact with internal Optiv teams and partners to synchronize expectations and guarantee service delivery excellence.
• Discover emerging technologies for internal enablement and client engagement.
• Advocate for Optiv’s portfolio and promote security awareness at speaking engagements, partner events, and via social media.
• Establish a trusted-advisor reputation and influential cybersecurity network.
• Relay client feedback to internal teams for continuous enhancement.
• Participate in account planning, forecasting, and pipeline management.
• Manage and prioritize proposals, contracts, RFIs, and RFPs.
• Maintain and acquire technical capabilities, soft skills, and security knowledge through development initiatives.
• Enhance sales techniques and assist in closing sales.
• BS/BA or equivalent educational background with applicable work experience.
• At least five (5) years in an information security role, ideally as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer concentrating on Network/SASE/OT.
• Strong business and technical insight.
• Capacity to lead discussions focused on technology.
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in whiteboard sessions.
• High attention to detail when assessing SOWs, quotes, and client deliverables.
• Extensive security-related knowledge and a commitment to ongoing expertise development across various domains.
• Vendor-specific certification(s) primarily related to the specialty.
• CISSP, GIAC, CISA, CISM, CCSP, or other pertinent professional cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience in speaking about and promoting technology vision at events.
• Previous experience leading an information security function or program.
• Membership and participation in organizational chapter meetings such as ISACA or ISSA.
• Ability to obtain a government-sponsored Secret Clearance.
