This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Drive the generation of services and technologies business to achieve or surpass quarterly and annual quota goals in collaboration with account teams.
• Adhere to Optiv's Standardized Sales Operating Processes to ensure consistent success.
• Comprehend clients' security environments, business operations, security requirements, and risk appetites.
• Recognize security issues and align them with Optiv's strategic solutions and comprehensive cybersecurity programs.
• Engage in the Field Center of Excellence for Identity and position Optiv's services alongside technology partners' products.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
• Qualify leads and collaborate with internal colleagues on scope, proposals, and closing deals.
• Engage in sales opportunities across Optiv’s diverse portfolio.
• Clearly articulate how Optiv's technology and services fulfill client stakeholder needs.
• Monitor industry trends and the cybersecurity landscape to provide thought leadership and guidance.
• Collaborate with service delivery on domain-specific materials.
• Develop security strategies and roadmaps that align with business objectives, budgets, and ROI metrics.
• Maintain advisory relationships with client stakeholders alongside sales partners.
• Cultivate relationships with relevant Optiv technology partners.
• Design comprehensive security programs that integrate technology and services.
• Facilitate discussions, gather requirements, select technologies, and coordinate demonstrations and evaluations.
• Partner with internal Optiv teams to align client expectations and ensure delivery excellence and satisfaction.
• Share client feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in account planning, forecasting, pipeline management, and proposal processes.
• Create business proposals and contracts while responding to RFIs/RFPs.
• Maintain technical capabilities, soft skills, and security-specific knowledge through ongoing development activities.
• Utilize proficient sales techniques to facilitate meetings, understand client needs, position solutions, and close sales.
• BS/BA or equivalent education and/or relevant work experience.
• A minimum of five years in an information security role with a focus on Identity and Access Management.
• Experience as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer is preferred.
• Expertise with Identity tools such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, BeyondTrust, and Idra/CyberArk.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, GIAC, or others are preferred.
• Experience in presenting and promoting technology vision at events.
• Deep understanding of current threat landscapes, vulnerabilities, and defensive measures.
• Strong business and technical acumen.
• Ability to lead discussions focused on technology.
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to conduct whiteboard sessions.
• Exceptional attention to detail when reviewing SOWs, quotes, and client deliverables.
• Broad security knowledge with a commitment to continuous learning in other domains.
• Vendor-specific certification centered primarily on specialty areas.
• Proficient in sales techniques.
• Capable of working in a flexible, responsive team environment with effective communication.
• Highly motivated self-starter who functions well without day-to-day supervision.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time or as required.
