Cyber Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• **What You'll Do:**

• - Perform real-time oversight of security alerts and incidents using our SIEM tools (FortiSIEM and MS Sentinel) to ensure prompt identification and resolution of potential threats.

• - Employ vulnerability management tools such as Tenable and MS Defender to report on vulnerabilities in customer environments and suggest suitable remediation plans.

• - Deliver security awareness training sessions for customers to cultivate a security-conscious culture.

• - Organize regular security meetings with CT customers by generating reports and presenting findings.

• - Collaborate with all stakeholders to set up and fine-tune security tools, including EDR solutions, application control, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-malware software.

• - Create and maintain detailed documentation on security procedures and guidelines.

• - Keep abreast of the latest cyber security trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance our security posture.

⛳️ Requirements

• **What You'll Bring:**

• - **An NV1 Security Clearance is essential to qualify for this position**

• - Experience with any SIEM products, preferably FortiSIEM and/or Microsoft Sentinel.

• - Familiarity with IDS/IPS, EDR Solutions, cloud technologies, and endpoint protection.

• - Understanding of network protocols, security architectures, and information security frameworks.

• - Ideally, experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and remediation.

• - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to think critically and respond swiftly to security incidents.

• - Effective communication and teamwork skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• - Ideally, experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and remediation using tools such as Tenable and Microsoft Defender.

• - Experience with user Cybersecurity Awareness training software such as uSecure or Microsoft training modules.

• - Relevant certifications are advantageous (e.g., Tenable Vulnerability Management Specialist Course, SC-900, SC-200, SC-100).
