Customer Service Rep – Spanish/English Bilingual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Respond to a high volume of incoming patient calls.

• Accurately schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments.

• Manage patient requests while ensuring a high level of customer service and confidentiality.

• Handle tasks from multiple electronic platforms efficiently and accurately.

• Greet callers promptly, courteously, and in a professional manner.

• Screen calls and document messages accurately while maintaining confidentiality.

• Operate multiple computer applications simultaneously and efficiently.

• Strive to meet department call and productivity metrics.

• Maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, the public, coworkers, and interdepartmental staff.

• Participate in the orientation and training of new staff members.

• Adhere to the policies and procedures of Lower Lights Christian Health Center.

• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or an equivalent qualification.

• Fluency in reading, writing, and understanding both English and Spanish (required).

• Familiarity with professional office practices and procedures.

• Proficiency in typing and general computer navigation (required).

• Minimum of one year of customer service experience required, preferably in a call-center setting.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Effective time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently.

• Professional and respectful interaction with coworkers.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, and Excel is preferred.

• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
