This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Delivers prompt, empathetic, and professional assistance to individuals facing emotional distress, behavioral health emergencies, or urgent mental health situations.
β’ Engages with crisis calls, texts, and chats by performing risk assessments, de-escalating scenarios, and ensuring safety through active listening, crisis intervention, and problem-solving strategies.
β’ Conducts follow-up calls after crises to ensure individuals and families have access to community resources.
β’ Achieves key performance metrics and service standards while demonstrating compassion towards individuals and families.
β’ High school diploma with four years of experience in social work, mental health, or a related field OR an associate's degree with two years of experience in social work, mental health, or a related field.
β’ Exceptional communication abilities.
β’ Professional demeanor and capacity to establish rapport with callers.
β’ Capability to support and provide crisis intervention resources to individuals in emotional distress.
β’ Strong sense of empathy and the ability to uphold ethical boundaries and confidentiality in high-pressure environments.
β’ Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
β’ Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
β’ Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously.
β’ Willingness to attend and successfully complete over 200 hours of training.
