This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Effectively overseeing a crew(s) engaged in new site constructions.
• Modifications to towers and sites.
• Installation, programming, and troubleshooting of microwave systems.
• Troubleshooting of antennas and lines.
• Ensuring that high-quality work is carried out in accordance with company and governmental safety protocols.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience or equivalent in a Foreman role is required.
• Willingness to travel for 4 to 6 weeks at a time.
• Must possess knowledge and the capability to safely guide crew(s) while performing maintenance and installation tasks on wireless telecommunication sites, including working on towers, rooftops, and ground-based sites for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining antennas, RRUs, base stations, cabinets, sector mounts, cable trays, ice bridges, COAX, fiber/power, GPS, etc.
• Ability to safely direct crew(s) and execute tasks effectively.
• Proficient in troubleshooting telecommunications network issues (including equipment and line/fiber problems) and resolving them using a Site Master, PIM Tester, AAT (Antenna Alignment Tool), OTDR Fiber Tester, and other industry-standard testing equipment.
• Computer literacy and experience in completing internal and client COP deliverables, which include job logs, field reports, and COP deliverables such as photographs, sweeps, fiber tests, and forms.
• Professional demeanor and capability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Compliance with and enforcement of safety and operational policies and procedures set by the company, clients, and regulatory bodies (OSHA, FAA, DOT, etc.).
• Leadership qualities to provide training, support, and contribute hands-on assistance in the field to both subordinates and superiors as needed.
• Excellent housekeeping skills, including the ability to maintain a company vehicle, issued testing equipment and tools, as well as job site cleanliness.
• Capability to identify special equipment or machinery necessary for task completion.
• Ability to collaborate with Project Management, Field Supervisors, and other stakeholders to establish and manage job budgets (including hours, equipment, materials, etc.) based on cost analysis.
• Strong teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with Tower hands.
• Positive attitude is essential.
• Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Reliability is a must.
• Personal set of basic hand tools is required.
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship are essential.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
• Availability for overtime and weekend work as necessary.
• Comfort with working at heights of up to 350 feet.
• Compliance with safety and operational policies and procedures from the company, clients, and regulatory agencies (OSHA, FAA, DOT, etc.) is required.
• Ability to pass a drug screening is mandatory.
