This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Translate and localize gaming content from Simplified Chinese into Japanese while engaging in creative writing.

• Work collaboratively with both the localization and development teams to communicate translation requirements and assist in resolving any issues that may arise during the translation process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or native-level proficiency in Japanese (preference given to Japanese nationals).

• Previous experience in copywriting and creative writing in Japanese is essential. Experience crafting original stories, novels, books, or scripts is highly valued, with a strong focus on creative writing abilities and imaginative thinking.

• Must be an active gamer, having played story-driven or narrative-rich games. Familiarity with common gaming terminology, user interface terms, and player psychology is a must.

• Basic to intermediate reading skills in Chinese.

• Experience across various game types or genres is preferred.
